1 Peter 2:15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
This verse confirms the idea that how we will live as righteous, holy, and loving people will witness to the world around us. Truth triumphs, but often those who profess it must suffer until there is victory. In the last days, truth will be replaced for a lie. People will be fooled into accepting injustice as the way things should go. If enough people believe the lies, then laws and culture are changed. People who claim certain lifestyles or actions are acceptable are only fooling themselves. God’s truth does not change, although we will have to apply it in constantly new ways. Our mission is to do “good” as revealed in God’s word, the Bible.
