Jude 24-25 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!Amen.

Jude ends his letter with confidence in God’s ability to keep his readers strong in the faith he calls them to have. The closing verses are in the form of a doxology and prayer. God is the only one who can give us complete and lasting victory. The condition is that we let God do this. We express our hope and confidence in God through faith evidenced in prayer and obedience to God’s will. When we place ourselves at God’s disposal, we will be changed and made holy through Jesus Christ our Lord. This cleansing and purifying will make us holy and allow us to stand in God’s presence (Hebrews 12:14). Our faults and sins will be removed through God’s grace and our hearts will be filled with job because we will finally be complete. We will be able to walk in the garden with our Creator like Adam and Eve. No separation, guilt, or shame. That is because God is our Savior. It is to him that we give glory, majesty, power, and authority. This all comes about because of what Jesus had done for us through the cross and resurrection. This powerful passage draws this short letter to a triumphant close. We can live with confidence because we know the ending. Getting to that point will involve trials and tribulations. We all have those. With God’s help and wise choices, we can experience this hope in part now and in full when Jesus comes again. This confidence can help our faith grow stronger and help us live out this faith every day. To God be the glory!
