My verse for this year is Romans 15:13:<\/p>\n

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace\u00a0as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

Every day I deal with people who have little hope. Their hopes are dashed. They have suffered many loses, including their health. I have been reflecting on the losses I have suffered this past year. I need a dose of God’s hope. This hope brings joy and peace, two key elements that many in this world are lacking. They seek happiness but don’t know joy. There have been many days when I have not been happy but I can still have a joy. The God of hope gives us overflowing hope through the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. I will be reflecting a lot on this verse.<\/p>\n
