1 John 2:10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.
The way we can know if we are walking in the light is how we relate to the people around us. Are we showing them love? Is our love evident in what we say to them, how we respond to them, what we do through our own initiative for them? Any other type of response will be an opportunity to stumble. The light is the reflection of the image of Christ within us. The light is the holiness that results from the forgiveness and cleansing that comes in response to confession. Holiness must be evident in our relationships with others. Holiness must lead to love. Love is holiness lived out in relationships. this
