Revelations 1:7: Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Truly. Amen.

The day will come, but who will be ready? What response will we give when Jesus comes again? For those who are right with God, it will be a day of rejoicing, for our struggle in this world is over. For those who have rejected Jesus, it will be a day of misery because their fates will be sealed. What will our response be when Jesus comes again? We will not have a choice. We cannot hide. Every heart will be laid bare and every deed made known. Do we have the blood of Christ to cover us over? Have our robes been washed pure?

This is a challenging verse for those who see two second comings, the rapture and the final victory, with a thousand year reign in between. This will have to be examined carefully later in Revelation and weighed with other Scripture. This verse does not make a decision about this but only makes the assertion that Jesus is indeed coming again. He will come on the clouds just as he left into the clouds (Acts 1:11). His coming again will be obvious to everyone.
