Romans 1:32  Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

This verse shows that people are without excuse for being in sin. Sin does not happen accidentally but on purpose when we push God’s light out and allow the darkness to come in. The seriousness of this chapter ends with these words of spiritual darkness: people know what is right but reject it. This is not accidental or ignorance but open rebellion. These people even go as far as to approve what the sin that others are involved in. Those who reject God’s will expressed in his decrees deserves death. Paul will restate that in Romans 6:23. God told Adam and Eve that when they eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they would die. Death is the result of rejecting God. Life is the result of accepting God and following God’s laws.
