Rom 8:37  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

This is God’s answer written through Paul the Apostle to the suffering we experience in this life. We can conquer the tribulations of life because we are on the winning side. Nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus. It is difficult to remember this. When hardship comes to us, we go through several stages. Psychologists have identified these stages and given them names. For those who have experienced visible sorrow or pain, the stages are easy to remember. Those who grieve the loss of a loved one have similar experiences. First is the shock and emotional reaction, often expressed as doubt or fear. A person may respond with trying to flee the situation or fight back. Once the reality of the situation is clear, the person may begin to ask why he or she is going through this. This can increase the doubt and fear. The person may begin to question God or his or her beliefs. It is at this stage that a person begins to remember and embrace deeply held convictions which can grow and strengthen the person. As a result, a person can grow stronger in character with a stronger hope and assurance in God.
