Romans 1:24-25 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.Amen.
God will not force his love on us. If people want to go their own way, then God will let them. God will put road signs that point the right way to him, but people need to take that way in faith. Paul points out one of the most vivid ways people reject God by following the way of the flesh and using their bodies in ways God did not create them to be used. The lie that people follow is that following lust and selfish cravings will bring satisfaction and happiness. However, the result is emotional emptiness and even physical pain and disease.
When people turn away from God, the result is that God lets them go. This is part of his wrath that is poured out on people. God’s wrath may be experienced by grace that lets people go their way.
